I'd certainly put her way ahead of the current shower, although that wouldn't be to difficult.

Another attempt to rewrite history? Does she have a book to sell?

Oh goody, another story centred around the accusations from one politician about the alleged actions of another random politician.
Yay, I can feel the respect rising by the minute!

There's a bizarre campaign going on in the media at the moment to rewrite Theresa May's legacy as some sort of capable, competent, empathetic, getter of things done.

Surely they don't expect us to just forget all the things she actually did or how utterly useless she was?

She can't even do a proper job of this, name names or STFU.

Can't she just shut up and go away? If she waits long enough maybe everyone will forget her and what a useless weak mess she was.

I wonder if May is lining herself up to take up the leadership after Sunak leads the Tories to defeat?

One of the worst PMs we have had and one of the most duplicitous.

She's nowhere near Lucifer Blair.

Theresa May was a total disaster and this is just another part of her bizarre campaign to revise how history will view her. Of course, silly stories like this are easily made up when you refuse to name names, barely one rung above 'a source close to the party said...'.

Quite - surely they'd hide in a cabinet.

The minister who would meet the families would surely be the Minister of State for Policing, Fire, Crime, Criminal Justice, and Victims no other Minister in the Home Office would need to meet the families since it's not an immigration issue, security, domestic abuse issue etc..

Under Theresa May as Home Secretary in 2010 it's easy to find out that would have been:

Nicholas Le Quesne Herbert, Baron Herbert of South Downs ex-MP, who held the position from 13th May 2010 to the 4th September 2012.

If of course she's telling the truth.
