He sounds like an obnoxious .

Leading with the Dad's Army bit makes it all sound a lot more jokey than it was.

The DM seems to be emphasising the "sexist" bit but that's not the only reason. If that had been ALL he said he would have probably got a reprimand. However there's a clear pattern of him behaving like a twunt to different people over several years. No professional institute would put up with one of their members behaving like that.

fking hell, the comments under that article - makes this place look like an episode of Bing. The sooner they all die off the better.

Are they for real? If so, it suggests that the DM tactic of hoping people will only read the headline and make up their mind based purely on that actually works. frown

"Here's a link and here's a description of what it is rather than some massive long URL that PistonHeads doesn't always render properly anyway".

I really do wonder sometimes hehe

No I think it’s great that the description is there instead of the link that reveals its another quality piece of journalism from the daily mail.

Course it works. Their readership aren’t all exactly Mensa members! A lot of them are just looking to be angry and offended about everything. Hence the array of contradictory headlines, like whinging about day release prisoners working at McDonalds - I’m sure we have also had complaints about recidivism and sitting on benefits from said toilet paper so it’s anything to get a click and a reaction, they aren’t the only ones but one of the more blatant examples.

It’s normal on here to create hyperlinks in this manner, there are instructions under ‘Formatting Help’ when you post or reply.

Sounds like an obnoxious bd to be fair, its not like the article suggests in the headline that he made a light hearted joke using the altered line from dads army once, sounds more like he was a right prick a lot of the time and people had enough of it to take it further.

And the DM comments are full of people that cant reconcile that others dont have to put up with misogynistic bullies in the workplace, its not "woke", its just that people dont have to suffer bullst like that every day as nobody listens, imagine the misery over the years people have had to put up with in the workplace from people like he seems to be ? They get emboldened and it becomes a thing, a sport for them and its sort of accepted.

My mum told me about what she had to put up with working at Manchester Town Hall in the sixties, being touched and remarks of a sexual nature were a daily occurrence, then there was the general sexism and being treated like st.
