Surprised this has not been brought up

Ten year old girl found dead after neighbours report concern. Father, partner and uncle leave for Pakistan the day before.

It sounds utterly fked up tbh.

One of those tragic cases where the moment you heard they were seeking three people you'd pretty much put money on it that it would be close family and one or more parents.

Does the U.K. have an extradition agreement with Pakistan, I hope so?

No, I don’t believe it does

However fugitives from U.K. justice have been returned from Pakistan to face justice notably the murderer of Pc Sharon Beshenivski in Bradford in 2005

It needs to be done through Diplomatic Requests and is a lengthy process, I think the above case took some 14 or 15 years to track the offender down and get him extradited

He’s currently in custody in the U.K. awaiting trial at the Old Bailey

iirc others have been brought back as well, I think there was a recent case of a man who had murdered his wife in the U.K. and fled to Pakistan

It's the mention of multiple injuries that gets me, poor girl.

Year older than my daughter and it happened less than half a mile away.

Absolutely awful thing to happen, really hope they bring those involved back to the UK. Can't imagine how the mum is feeling.

The assumption is that the father was the perpetrator. It may have been the stepmother or other family members. The fact that it was the father that called does seem a bit odd.

It says there were ""multiple and extensive injuries", likely to have been caused over a sustained period of time." so I doubt it was one of the parents alone. Also if he was not involved or aware he'd not want to flee the country leaving the body behind, he'd want to ensure the person was brought to justice here.

Weird and tragic. Father had custody from the estranged mother. Photo of child very ‘westernised and glammed up’. Perhaps some perceived clash of culture. Maybe the photo was from the school play and I’m reading too much into it. I look forward to the truth coming out, and then the people responsible being held to account.

the mother still had contact with her daughter, but the father had custody, she's Polish, clash of cultures maybe.

Lots of Pakistani guys from Woking have/had a Polish wife and child, it's a good way of staying in the UK once the student visa runs out. At least this was the case 5-10 years ago when I worked with plenty of them.

It's certainly not uncommon in Woking and I'd imagine other areas too.

No.

Whinging about family members being harassed.

Should have thought about that before murdering your daughter and fleeing.

I'm sure not... must be innocent, right? Fled to a country with no extradition agreement, child known to authorities.

Utterly tragic for the poor child, cowardly scumbag family - hopefully it catches up to them.

Injure kid over a significant period of time

Kill kid

Don't tell anyone, just let her sit there dead in a house whilst you run off to Pakistan

Don't give yourself up

"our family are being harassed"

She died from injuries inflicted on her over a long period of time, she had so many injuries the post mortem does not show which injury killed her, must have been an accident!
