From a personal point of view up here in Scotland I'am hoping the SNP will get a pasting...they are beyond atrocious, Labour will benifit the most but it worries me them getting back in control and with these additional Scottish seats in Parliment I think that would be very bad for the whole of the UK.

The Conservatives have blown it Boris is to blame for that...what a plonker, now look at the mess its caused.

So who else is there to vote for as each of the main parties is useless...I'am leaning towards The Reform Party if anything else just to give the main two a bloody nose for the mess they have caused.

It would be interesting to hear everyones views on the next election...anything goes..!!!

I think a strong but not too strong Labour victory would be best.

Knocking the SNP to third place would be good (but unlikely I think), allowing the Scottish parliament to function as intended. with the Tories annihilated in England for their general infighting, corruption and incompetence. If they lost their seats 50/50 to Labour and the Libs I'd be happy with that.

If Labour win by too wide a margin I'd be worried that the nutter wing may start getting ideas. Although if the margin is too narrow then that may give the nutter wing too much leverage like the DUP had under May, so perhaps a Labour landslide and a sensible Starmer cabinet is the best we can hope for.

I'm not really expecting anything inspirational though.

I’m in England but I genuinely think I’m going to spoil my paper; or, I might turn up without ID and force them to record that fact. One or the other.

Reform party getting quite a few ex-ukip votes and I predict a HUGE number of spoiled ballots.
Oh, and PM Kier.

I have never been so disillusioned by politics to the point i think none of them are worth the vote.

Electoral Calculus' current prediction:

About the only thing that could convince me to vote Tory at this point would be the return of Corbyn and his tankies.

Keir Starmer may not be inspiring, but he's not going to scare off too many voters either.

My prediction is that the country will be run even further into the ground. It does not matter which of the main parties get in, they are both lying cheating gits with the same agenda.

Same here.

I’m a Trad Tory. I’ve always voted and I’ve always voted UKIP or Conservative.

There isn’t a single party that I’d even remotely like to see in no:10. They are all an incompetent shower of bds.

I've voted Tory for over 50 years.

It will be a Labour landslide, and the Tories only have themselves to blame.

We really do need a 'none of the above' on the ballot.

The Lib Dems won’t learn and will go into coalition with Labour, the SNP will have also donated Labour some seats as, well, I’m still waiting to be shown they aren’t a bunch of crooks.

The Conservative Party won’t do as bad as everyone is expecting. It’ll still be bad though, don’t get me wrong.

I don't have much faith in opinion polls.

One thing which amuses me is to look at Oddschecker.
https://www.oddschecker.com/politics/british-polit...

The money is obviously on a Labour majority.
But more people are betting on a tory win.

I think that post Brexit and post Boris, there are an awful lot of Tory voters who keep their views and intentions to themselves.

My guess as to what will happen is a much smaller Labour majority.

What I'd like to happen is a different question. Probably the best outcome would be for the tory party to self destruct and get replaced with a party of low taxes and efficient government.

I will not be surprised if 'I couldn't be bothered to vote' gets a majority in a majority of seats.

It’s a good thing for a party with so many liars and scandal to be given a bloody nose though. Might make others think twice before being so blatant about it for a short while. In the absence of an electorate willing to open their minds and vote outside what they always have.

Yup Labour are Champagne socialists, Conservatives have just made the middle classes suffer and the Lib Dems pfft who cares.

For me to even consider labour seriously then they should propose to defeather their own nest… cap MP’s salaries at 60k, stricter expenses, no london second homes, get rid of the ridiculously low council tax for Westminster.. they won’t though.

The problem comes when so many of them need a bloody nose smile

think the total opposite to this. pay the roles properly (very restricted expenses on top) and get decent calibre people to run the country. the salaries mean they are always going to be in the trough somehow.

A Labour win hopefully with a large enough majority to enable the new government to take the impossibly difficult decisions that are going to need to be taken to sort broken Britain. The current shambles have made a mess of pretty much everything.

100 seat majority and at least two terms with a bit of luck - although the rebuild required will take much longer.

A rock solid labour win so they can do whatever they want
