Lots of Internet chatter this evening about an email sent to multiple recipients ahead of George Osborne's wedding containing some fairly eye watering revelations about his personal conduct.

Has anyone read it?

Can't imagine what the emails before Boris Johnson tied the knot with Carrie were like then.

Osborne needs to double down and have the best man read out the juiciest bits from the email at the reception whilst inhaling frequently from a helium balloon. I know that's what I'd do.

Too many Daily Mail links and sentences which end with a question. I assume most of the recipients either know about whatever it says or can't be arsed to read all that.

It brings him/them down a level doesn't it?

Like a Facebook rant from one person about their no good, dole scum, two-timing rat of an ex!

Imagine being so consumed by envy and jealousy that you would actually take the time and effort to write and send that drivel. Tragic. I'm also wondering if this has been written by his daughter.

I can't be arsed to read it but presumably someone marrying this weapon would probably expect other people to write "George, he's a right fking ". I mean how would you not know? He is. Always has been. Always will be!

Am I close?

You can educate, you can put them in posh suits and frocks, you can school them in etiquette but when it comes down to it pretty much everyone just wants to have a shag.

At least the rest of us don't pretend to be better than everyone else.

Well that’s the point isn’t it? Alleges.
It’s an extraordinary screed. With lots of links to popbh and the daily mail.

As hit jobs go it’s absolutely ludicrous. I mean where to go? Do you start at material stuff (the 16 yr old) or the insinuated stuff? It’s completely malevolent and nuts. It will take the press years to fathom.

Unless.

Oh my: it’s a surprise it’s standard behaviour. Which it probably is not only amongst the politically famous, or indeed the rock stars or mildly well off. Or in fact the not well off. Or the rest of humanity.

It’s a bizarre post.

This just comes across as some Prosecco-fuelled vindictive rant by a dumped middle class woman sitting at her kitchen table alternating between sobbing and smiling.

First world people. First world problems.

I thought the daughter because they might have the necessary access to a family computer which would have the email distribution list. And in terms of motive, whilst I'm sure plenty of people sadly might think about doing something vindictive like this, it's ultimately selfish and a poor attempt to be destructive i.e. they are probably young (and naive). And one of their children could perhaps use the logic they are protecting their mother, as a partial justification for their actions.

Disappointing. I detest Osborne and was hoping there would be something in there about coke and hookers, or maybe goats. Instead it's just plain vanilla Westminster infidelity. Does politics turn people into amoral scumbags, or is it just that amoral scumbags gravitate towards politics?
