Only resigned as a minister according the Beeb. Assume on that basis he’s staying as a backbench MP.

He's not an MP, he's a peer.

It's a resignation as per.

The beeb also mentioned a link to the inquiry, yet they then cite ZG as saying it was due to eco matters.

No doubt BBC Verify aka the Ministry of Truth have been in action.

Ah, yes, good point. Shame, it would be good to add the Rishi’s by-election headaches.

It was the Goldsmith set influence that was partly responsible for the Bojo the Clown government being so unprepared for the energy crisis.

Good riddance to all such trust fund parasites.

Other outlets reported the same.

Must be confusing, being a Boris supporter and net zero advocate.

Zac will be remembered as a titan of modern politics.
His determination to get things done, his communication skills and above all his chap next door persona will be sadly missed
As a successful businessman (with a chain of jewellery shops across the UK) he didn't have to enter politics but he did. He did it because of his commitment to making the lives of ordinary people better.
It's not often I say this but in this case I will : Jolly well done Zac you will be missed by many

Just for a laugh I read the Spectator comments about his departure and didn't see a single supportive comment about him.

"Good riddance" sums up the feelings.
