Possible?

What's the risk, given the Conservatives are probably due a kicking if they go full term?

I see no downsides! Maybe, or though I'm holding no wagers, the Tories could be returned with a small majority given the Opposition, but I'd suggest it's odds on for a hung with Labour forming a Govt with the LibDems?

Am I right, or am I right?

I think they will leave it to the absolute last minute which is 28 January 2025. I think they will hold it in December 2024 and the conservatives will win again as there is literally no other option.

What's the risk?

Labour on course for 140-seat majority under new constituency boundaries, poll suggests

Granted it's at the extreme end of polling predictions.

This. A lot can happen between now and Jan 25 they could turn things around and everyone will have forgotten about Borris.

Exactly!

A snap election this November might lessen the pain?

Votely safely!

I'm borrowing that, if you don't mind?

I mean people vote for what they know, rather than something new!

Indeed they do, and you have coined a new catchy battle cry, if I'm not mistaken?

Anyway, to get the topic back on track, is there a reason why this couldn't be held in November '23?

Announce some tax cuts at the last minute job jobbed. No credible opposition I agree which is a real shame.

Literally any other party would be an improvement on the current shower.
The Tories are in for a well deserved kicking. Destroyed by Johnson & his cronies. Good work Johnson.

I think the main reason is the conservatives definitely won’t do it.
