A paddleboarder in his 70s died after getting into difficulty in the sea at Worthing and a 26-year-old man was pronounced dead shortly after falling off his jetski near Goring over the bank holiday weekend.

Will take a stab in the dark and say both were not wearing a life jacket, the older gent most likely because....'been doing this for years don't need one'

The younger guy...'I'll look like a dik if I wear a life jacket' or similar
