Discussion
Have you ever been persuaded by reading arguments presented by someone posting in News, Politics & Economics that made you change your mind about a topic being discussed? I am talking about big issues that you were emotionally invested in such as climate change, abortion, Brexit, etc.
I get the impression that conversion to an opposite belief or position is not that common but it would be interesting to find out.

Yes, as NP&E threads highlighted how the Conservative Party including its leader ultimately showed themselves to be - in my view - no longer the least worst electoral choice at the height of their muppetry. I'm not on the usual social media and don't have time to scrutinise individual sources, but can dip in to PH as a break from wfh online and find concentrated juice easy enough to see. More recently, Starmer has been working hard to reverse that switchover, just as he's working hard to lose a large poll lead, and once again there are various items linked to from PH threads which would otherwise go unnoticed.
