A hairdresser and former magistrate, from Pembrokeshire!

Shocking, I never knew anyone who cut hair and sentenced their customers would be accepted in the Conservative Party? Every day, etc.....

Britain fought hard and sacrificed much to abolish slavery.

He's an absolute disgrace of a human being.

Now I’m sure you can search for similar examples of people who should be nowhere near a position of power or influence within a political party but the Tories are the party in power at the moment and they are having a serious issue with ethics…

…. Who knows what is going on at various levels across the country, clearly the Tories don’t. Yet millions of people have created some farcical straw an argument that not voting Tory again will unleash the rapture….

The point is it’s not isolated incidents, it’s endemic throughout the party, I’d be so embarrassed to be associated with this current crop of Tory politicians…

Johnson and the ERG purged the Tory party of sensible politicians.

Yes they did, now we have the likes of Gullis and Anderson in positions far beyond their skill and experience, we’re in a very dangerous position right now.

Seems he referred himself to the ombudsman, but yeah, guilty as charged eh BS...Lets get the lynching done quickly...or we could wait to see if the audio is actually real as there seems to be more than a little doubt.

Agreed. There is no place in politics for this sort of vile behaviour. Investigate and take appropriate action.

Personally I take the view of gratitude, that these ppl are stupid enough to announce their views in public. This way we can deal with them accordingly.
There is no point having some paddy whack moral outrage that some ppl hold daft views because some ppl will always hold daft views. The bit that matters is handling them.

I don't write the headlines (it's on the BBC and Sky News too) I didn't make the decision to suspend him and presumably he could have very easily said "the voice in the recording isn't me".

Trust you.

THE COUNCILLOR accused of making racist comments in a private conversation – which was recorded and posted online may be the victim of a ‘deep fake’, The Herald can reveal.
Cllr Andrew Edwards says he does not recall ever saying those words – and analysis of the recording has shown inconsistencies which are in line with an audio file which has been digitally manipulated

You posted the piece with the headline 'the absolute state of this' so do not try and pretend you are just the messenger. It is clear as usual you are already mounted and ready to ride hehe

This is the same BS who stuck the knife into Cummings at any opportunity when he was Johnsons right hand man, when he turned against Boris BS decided he was a righteous dude and quoted him constantly.
