Ground breaking vaccines from Covid research

If this bears fruit, and God knows there have been so many false dawns when it comes to cancer treatments one is entitled to a fair degree of scepticism, it will be a properly amazing breakthrough.
From the article
“Millions of lives could be saved by a groundbreaking set of new vaccines for a range of conditions including cancer, experts have said. A leading pharmaceutical firm said it is confident that jabs for cancer, cardiovascular and autoimmune diseases, and other conditions will be ready by 2030.
Studies into these vaccinations are also showing “tremendous promise”, with some researchers saying 15 years’ worth of progress has been “unspooled” in 12 to 18 months thanks to the success of the Covid jab.
Dr Paul Burton, the chief medical officer of pharmaceutical company Moderna, said he believes the firm will be able to offer such treatments for “all sorts of disease areas” in as little as five years.”
Fingers crossed.

I would like to see some detailed analysis and understanding of the causes of the current high levels of excess deaths being seen across the world in many places that have used mRNA injections over the past couple of years, in order to understand if there are negative effects that are not yet understood, prior to pushing the technology as a solution for other ills.

Still bothers me this perhaps an age thing...
"10 years from now, we will be approaching a world where you truly can identify the genetic cause of a disease and, with relative simplicity, go and edit that out and repair it using mRNA-based technology"
TX.
That appears to be saying that mRNA injections are gene therapy."10 years from now, we will be approaching a world where you truly can identify the genetic cause of a disease and, with relative simplicity, go and edit that out and repair it using mRNA-based technology"

However, on the cancer 'vaccine', it is not a vaccine but a treatment. The info graphic clearly shows this. My question is why is there a deliberate undertaking to conflate an mRNA vaccine and an mRNA treatment?

I am not sure if that article includes any specific peer-reviewed data / studies of global datasets.
It’s equally true to point out that the doubt you’re experiencing is similarly not researched or peer reviewed and that the reasons given for excess cardiovascular deaths are highly plausible. I’m not pushing an agenda, just keeping an open mind. Biker 1 said:
Yay! We'll live forever, with yet another elixir of life!
I say snake oil, but who knows?
Not given enough thought IMOI say snake oil, but who knows?
What would "curing cancer" do to average life expectancy in the western world? Push the dial past 90? What would that do to demographics, pensions, quality of life in those extra years etc etc
Obviously (as per the thread "cancer is an effing fker") no one's going to be "against" this.
Finally a good use for gene editing, never was convinced it was needed to fight covid. (Especially as one of the big pluses was meant to be combatting new variants with a 6 week lead time...the "new" bivalent jab used two variants not in circulation at the time it was released)
But as the OP says, we've learnt plenty from this giant medical experiment. Hopefully that includes not jabbing everything in sight off the back of shoddy data
Anyway, I'm off to watch the documentary "I am Legend"...

Because it's an easy way to describe it to the general public. However, on the cancer 'vaccine', it is not a vaccine but a treatment. The info graphic clearly shows this. My question is why is there a deliberate undertaking to conflate an mRNA vaccine and an mRNA treatment?
No conspiracy, no hidden meaning or agenda, no microchips, just simplicity.

This fact was entirely missed in all the brouhaha at the time. Development of the Covid vaccine was the biggest open-source collaborative medical research project ever and one unhindered through the need to preserve commercial advantage and the demonstration of benefit when this happens. You come across as highly disrespectful and ignorant if you believe that.
A treatment does not need to be simplified, and by doing so it definitely comes across as a hidden agenda...
