If the pipeline operator says 200 barrels, from experience, it isn’t 200 barrels….

Makes a change for it to be leaking from a pipeline, normally it just oozes out of the cliffs.

or oozes up through the sand.....

it wasn't until we went to cornwall in my early teens that i realised that sand didn't normally have layers of black through it......

Nods head in agreement, and the completion fluid with 15% oil will be somewhat fanciful too.
BP will be pleased they offloaded to perenco...

Now then, don't you go spoiling the party by talking about how much cleaner things are today. Next thing you know people will forget about the "smog" incidents of 1950s and the fact most of London (including St Paul's Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament) had to be scrubbed clean during the 1980s/1990s.
