Not wishing ill of the dead however she made a very good living taking advantage of the vulnerable.
It may have brought comfort to some but if that comfort is based on lies and manipulation I would say that is of overall little value.
Astrology, mediums, religion; I class them all in a similar vein.

I came here to post exactly thisI'm so original
Anyhow, she had a good innings, I didn't realise she was older than me. Still I'm getting on now and everyone seems to be dropping around me.

She never did me any harm so RIP but she was nevertheless simply a very successful con artist.

Many years ago she was a student in Falmouth, and one night a group of Philippino sailors were in the pub. One of these sailors was doing some palm reading and other 'mystic' stuff. He told my partner that she has two 'spirit guides' and described an shy, elderly blonde woman who looked Scandinavian as one of them (not much of a stretch as my partner is often asked if she is Scandi) and the other as an Irish Wolfhound dog.
Not much of revelation really, but about a decade later a friend of my partner's lost her fiance in a tragic accident and decided to visit a clairvoyant. My partner went along for moral support, and apparently the clairvoyant knew lots of things about the deceased that were not in the public domain. Anyway, as they left, the clairvoyant thanked my friend for coming as she had 'enjoyed spending time with your two spirits'. She then described the shy, elderly Scandi-looking woman and the Irish Woflhound.
Finally, a couple of years ago we were in a tearoom where an old lady was doing tea leaf readings for customers. As we left the place the old lady beckoned my partner over and said 'do you know you have two spirits with you?' She then also described the same lady and the Wolfhound.
Make of that what you will!

I absolutely agree that these people are charlatans... except for something very odd that has happened to my partner.
