I'm not sure what it worse, that he only got 8 years for abusing children or that he only got 4 months for the child porn.

There are some people that deserve a whole-of-life sentence yet get a short spell in a cat C prison?!

They were still playing “Rock and Roll part 2” at NFL games until recently and it’s still heard at other American sports events.

He could have all the money in the world, but I don't think he'll be living an enviable life. I doubt he'll be able to venture outside for fear of abuse, both verbal and physical, for the rest of his days.

Gadd will not be added to the sex offenders' register for these crimes, because they were committed before the registry was introduced.


I’m not sure that’s a valid reason not to add him (somewhere close to the top).

16 years but afaik everyone gets let out at the half time served point. Makes a mockery of sentencing imho.

I wish sentences were announced as "8 years imprisonment plus 8 years of supervision with a risk of prison if they break their terms". Quoting the full term is just a lie.

Agreed, but it’s academic in this case as he was added to the register in 2008 for life when he returned to the UK from Vietnam.

Glitter used to live in a village about 8 miles from where I grew up. I once saw him driving a white Merc convertible in town with a young teenage girl in there with him, she looked about 13/14. Sick fk.
