Seems odd phone left on the bench etc
Dog was dry so not like she went to rescue that and slipped?
Anyone know the area?

it's interesting for sure.
I wasn't too impressed with the thoroughness of the police divers in that video.
My guess is that she won't have gone far from her phone ( who does) so likely she went into the river within site of the phone, possibly to rescue the dog, and as it was about an hour later it was found, plenty of time for that dog to dry off. Being on the phone and still logged in would suggest something sudden, but she's done what most home workers do when there is an 'all hands' employee teams meeting, and listen to it whilst doing something else.
However the river isn't that deep ( although there are pockets that are) and it's very meandering at that point, so to drown she'd have to hit her head, or have some kind of cold shock to the body that rendered her unable to get out of the river. However I don't think she could have floated that far, it meanders far too much to be swept away a decent distance. Likely she is somewhere between where she fell in (assuming near the bench), and the bridge over the river maybe 200m away.
you can get a good look of the river at that point here:

For the tin foil hatters, the area is beside a campsite and some sort of holiday home complex, so plenty of itinerant travellers with access to empty properties who could easily see people walking that area.

Odd one this how long till they found the dog? Did it dry off? I’m going with in the river she could wash up miles away.
Terribly sad if so she has 2 small kids.
It's horrible to think when someone is still missing but when people disappear so close to water, especially at this time of year, it's very hard to see how else this could turn out... Terribly sad if so she has 2 small kids.

Isn’t the river there still tidal? Remember going on a geography field trip many years ago and remember the river being tidal at the point, not sure how much flow would have been coming down the river when she went missing though.I wasn't too impressed with the thoroughness of the police divers in that video.

The height of the river also changes quite drastically slightly down the river before it gets to great eccleston there’s whites bridge, looking on google it looks like a stream, but I’ve seen it several feet higher there/flooding the road at times.
Anyone know what the river conditions were like when she went missing?
Looks calm on the news in the days after
If you look on Google maps/ street view standing on the road bridge, looking downstream away from the footbridge….
Then compare to this extreme, same place https://www.newsflare.com/video/405293/the-river-w...
When someone drowns isn’t there a tendency for the body to sink initially, then to float as changes happen in the body? I’ve watched a few bits on YouTube when people have gone missing in the past and unfortunately the bodies aren’t always found straight away

Slipped, pushed?
Either are possible but then it’s also possible something else happened to her, DM mentions abandoned house and the owner “happening to be there” also seen other places mention 70 year old well built white man seen walking a dog at the time mentioned etc, however the simple solution to me at the Moment is that she slipped and fell in, something like she got tanged in the dogs lead whilst going to put it back on whilst too close to the water or was on the conference call and the dog got a little to far away or near the edge of the riverbank, she leaves her phone on the bench thinking she’ll be a few seconds….

The banks can be deadly and if the river is high quite a fast flow
Obv we don’t know what the river conditions were at the time
This is what it looks like in flood

Reports are that the dog was found dry only a few minutes after she disappeared so seems unlikely she went in after the dog

St Michael’s is quite an upmarket little village, the campsites there are the “caravan club” type places with a mix of static and touring sites not really what I’d describe as “itinerants” tbf For the tin foil hatters, the area is beside a campsite and some sort of holiday home complex, so plenty of itinerant travellers with access to empty properties who could easily see people walking that area.
Doubt the sites will open at this time of year anyway
I have been following this because the lady concerned used to live in my town, i remember her from school, she's about 3yrs older than me but i have loads of friends who know her, i was speaking to one of my neighbours earlier who's class she was in.
I cant stop thinking about it tbh, it must be horrendous for the family
Its a really odd situation, i just dont see how she's just done a runner or done anything to herself, by all accounts she's a brilliant mum and brilliant mums don't just leave their kids.

Was going to post this as I'd not seen it on here and thought it would have been.
It is odd. They found her phone on a bench still connected to a conference call. And the dog, just wandering free between the river and the bench. On a popular dog walking route.
You'd think if she'd gone in the dog might have gone in after her or if she'd tried to run off, you'd at least tie the dog up so it couldn't follow you.
I do hope she's found but I'm not hopeful
