He was, and clearly still is, an utter bellend. I don’t want to waste my time going into any more detail but he’s a disgrace. I’ve never felt so strongly opposed to any of my constituency MPs, and if Kier Starmers only lasting success is to get shot of the Momentum element from the PLP then he’ll have done well. They need to go back under the stone they crawled out of. TeaNoSugar said:

I don't think he climbed anywhere to fall from.
Labour really need to look at their selection processes
Agreed on the selection process but I'm pretty sure I read something along the lines of he was up against Nick Clegg and it was expected he'd be the "token Labour candidate" and nobody expected for a second that he'd actually win.Labour really need to look at their selection processes

Thats been reported on various pieces about his victory. It was a genuinbe surprise that he won.

Four years? That’s quite the fall from grace.
What a nob.
As we sit here this evening, he’ll be getting booked-in at Armley, stripped naked, squat, turn around, bend over, touch your toes. All of your clothes and personal possessions taken off you, given a number instead of a name. What a nob.
Led through to the hub, given some crappy, stale meal to try and eat in a yellow polystyrene box, before being taken off to the grim first night centre.
Sometime tomorrow morning as many of us are having a quick ten minute break at work, he’ll be taken onto one of the main wings. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Screws have got to drag him onto the Wings literally kicking and screaming. I guarantee he’ll be practically stting in his greys.
He won’t like that. Armley is an absolute sthole of a prison. Utterly grim and depressing in every single way and very dangerous. Especially for lads not from the area, and especially for someone like Jared O Mara. I’ll give it until Monday morning before he’s begging to go on the numbers, but I don’t think he’ll get it. The Numbers are always over-prescribed.
Armley is that bad, even lads from Leeds don’t want to be there.
His mate from Dronfield got a nice touch though in comparison. It just goes to show how being a sneaky, backstabbing grass can temporarily save your skin.
