Window cleaner said to me this morning nothing works in the U.K. since Covid people just don’t want to put in the hard graft anymore. Made me think

You can’t see a GP. Plod won’t investigate if your car gets stolen or your house gets broken into ( unless you are a footballer). Every call centre has people working from home they tell you how important your call is but leave you hanging on for an hour only to be greeted by someone working from their kitchen table who can’t deal with your issue.

Bad luck if you need to go to hospital don’t wait for an ambulance as you might die whilst waiting or if you do wait expect to be on a trolley for 12 hours.

Many Tradespeople don’t turn up when they say they will. Firms don’t want to take on apprentices as they want to be CEO after 2 weeks and rarely turn up for work 5 days in a row. Just not worth the effort of employing them.

Sick leave is now seen as part of your holiday entitlement

Big business turns itself inside out with ridiculous training modules

Banks no longer think they have to be on the High Street

We have endless TV Channels but you scroll through and there’s nothing worth watching

The news is now a lesson in political correctness must show someone who claims they can’t afford to feed the kids and you think yeh right pull the other one.

The press want to fill endless pages with Prince Harry, who cares what he says just get a proper job instead of making millions from the institution you seem to hate

In the meantime we pay more and more tax for worse services.

Strikes who cares nothing works to start with so we don’t really notice if people go on strike.

See Prof Whitty now saying more people will now die of cancer and heart disease than normal due to lockdown. Genius!

Still maybe we will win the World Cup bring back 1966 was life simpler ?

Wouldn’t change under a new government the country has gone soft attitudes have changed hear the same from friends in Germany and France

I don't disagree with much of the above, although it's not just "us", even though it feels like it is sometimes. I think Europe is in the same boat, at least.

I mostly agree they don't. Except my aged relatives all, still, only bank in the branch. I have done what I can to educate them on the virtues of the internet & online banking, but it's got to a point where I think the chance of them transferring their life savings to a nigerian prince is too high.

Take a walk in the fresh air or something, this is one of a handful of threads where everything is broken you have made in the last month or so.

Nobody is forcing you to read it ! Life would be boring if we all had the same opinion so at least respect others

"anymore" isn't a word. It needs a space in it.

(checks OP history)
Yeah....someone who feels they have to have a grumble.
About once every week, by the look of things....although to be fair, I've only gone back a few months there hehe

OP - cheer up, things ain't all as bad as you seem determined to make them feel. Are you one of these newspaper readers

What gives you joy in your life?

Maybe post something positive about that - it might help your mental health thumbup
