Soon as I read the title I knew who the OP would be.
You do know I didn't actually make him put on a uniform and go to the far-right rally he's alleged to have gone to don't you?Hythe Tory councillor suspended over far-right links
As a matter of interest does anyone know the source of that s like badge on his left arm? That’s a bit weird.
Otherwise he is a fat balding bloke in a black shirt. Not a look I recommend which is why I generally wear navy.
Whether he is an ex member of the NBU is largely for the birds. There are all sorts of politicians with an interesting voyage through the political spectrum.

It’s the symbol of Mosley’s British Fascist Party.Otherwise he is a fat balding bloke in a black shirt. Not a look I recommend which is why I generally wear navy.

Glad there’s nothing to see concerning a councillor being an open fascist though.

"But it's just a fat bloke in a black shirt with a slightly fascist looking logo on the arm we don't actually know what it was all about"
"Something about Labour"
Remarkable.
bhstewie starts a thread about the nasty Tories are fascists."But it's just a fat bloke in a black shirt with a slightly fascist looking logo on the arm we don't actually know what it was all about"
"Something about Labour"
Remarkable.
No one cares.
bhstewie is surprised.
Must be a y in the day.

Nice to see lots of people who are happy to defend fascism.
If that's your take on it then you appear to have serious comprehension issues. I don't see a single person defending this idiot, let alone "lots".
Or is it classed as "defending" if it's anything short of having a screaming rant about how awful he is?
I can see people saying how right-wing they think the Tories are, people laughing that it's Stewie that posted it, and people moaning that people are laughing that it's Stewie that posted it.
Oh, and you, Zedders, and Stewie trying to paint everyone on PH as some sort of Nazi, which is your usual MO. I dont think I've ever seen Stewie post anwhere but NPE, which is just weird for a motoring forum. There are plenty of other political message boards out there with actual nasty, extreme right-wing views that he can go and battle on, but he chooses this one. Just odd.
I don’t think anyone is having a screaming rant are they?
When you see someone in a black shirt with an arm badge allegedly at a fascist rally and your first instinct is to have a go at the person who bought it to your attention I think it says more about your own standards than it does anything else.
Each to their own though.

There is no place for extremists in any mainstream political party. Right wing or left.
Suspension/ expulsion is the correct action, unfortunately it seems support for vile murderous political extremists is no longer a bar to high office.

So you didn’t see this then? Or are you struggling with comprehension:Ridgemont said:

Go on then. I’ll hold you to the same standards. Let’s see when any of us have done this?bhstewie said:

It seems a reasonable comparison, doesn’t it? Both parties appear to accept utterly vile extremists, one allows them to become leader and his deputy.Remarkable.
The other expels a local councillor.
All extremists should be driven from mainstream politics, left or right. Anyone espousing extremism should be punished, if they are waving Mein Kampf or a little red book, the results should be the same.
