Who has more to lose? The guy in a 2 tonne metal box, or the cyclist ?

It's the lack of a sense of self preservation that is most surprising.

Thank goodness they told us straight away about the value of the Jaguar. Such an important piece of information.

My thoughts exactly. If is were a £7k Jag, I wouldn't be interested, but £47k shows a man of PH business acumen and years of accumulated anger...

Christ how do people get themselves into these situations, mental from the cyclist and then even more mental from the Jag driver, I suspect he's going to be in a lot of trouble for that you can't just ram into someone no matter how silly they are.

Indeed, and deservedly. Some serious anger issues.

Can all these daily mail link threads go into their own separate thread or something so I don't have to look at them?

I'm no fan of the mail, but did someone force you to look at this one? The link says daily mail in it.

both idiots, but the driver definitely excelled himself to the point the police are probably very interested in meeting him.

I didn't click on the daily mail link, but unfortunately I clicked on this stupid thread.

Thanks to the mods for moving it away from GG.

I can completely understand why the cyclist would be angry because he only has a bike to ride on(well he did a few minutes before this happened anyway!). The Jag driver shouldn't have anything to be angry about I reckon in comparison.

Joking aside...I used to have a fairly bad temper years ago, but even at my most volatile I can't ever imagine me doing something like this(even though it probably would've gone through my head to be fair).

Crazy stuff, and it just shows that you're much better walking or driving away from these situations nowadays I think. You never know what someone might do for sure.

Whilst what's not surprising is the lack of empathy or consideration to vulnerable people.

It's 2022 - time to grow up.

Very much so I hope.

No matter what the circumstances anybody using a vehicle as a weapon needs some time inside.
