Should have had actual jail time IMO.

Especially when folks do get jail time for driving way too fast.

Wow what a throbber

Did he offer any kind of defence/mitigation or ?

I find massively entitled cock driving on the increase, I almost wonder if it's a product of living in too-safe a society, I treat every stranger as someone that might be the wrong person to trigger for no good reason because they might give you a slap or worse and thought most people would, but the number of people you encounter that seem to desire to have a problem, this is in decline. Maybe because I've experienced somewhat unsafe situations and most just don't today?

Why are eco loons not getting similar sentences for blocking motorways? Similar potential consequences.

You know the answer. In what way is this a protest?

Absolutely appalling. His behaviour/driving in the video is horrific.

Like the others who have posted, I also wonder what on earth his 'justification' for such behaviour could possibly have been? Maybe he's just a complete road rage nutcase?

I'd probably be that upset if I drove a Suzuki Vitara.

Well presumably it could have been some sort of "protest", misguided one, but I'd like to know what his motivation was as it seems to make little sense.

I think it’s this. Self loathing.

Joking aside what a plum. Shame the sentence was suspended.

Shame the court didn’t take his car off him and ban him from driving for life.

Should have actually sent him to jail for that.

I've no doubt the judge's hands were tied by sentencing guidelines etc but what a total knob. Imagine if his actions had led to your loved one dying when they could have been saved.

Sentencing more robust than I expected, even though the system seems to persecute motorists more than most. Disappointed that the sentence was suspended but the fine, ban & community service will sting a bit.

I expect him to get a lot of stick from the local community but would love to see what happens when he needs a doctor or A&E.

I would love to meet this bloke and ask him what the fk he through he was doing, then chin him as hard as possible.

But, I wouldn’t obstruct his ambulance, good god what is the pint of this bloke, I feel disgusted with myself if I don’t get out of the way in like two seconds of seeing and emergency vehicle.

Maybe fit bull bars to ambulances and give the drivers powers to do a tactical shove out of the way.

Probably stress over the cost of living.

Half the country is on anti depressants some people are ticking time bombs.

A spell in the big house would have given some perspective.

I agree that jail time would've been appropriate here. The consequences of deliberately obstructing an ambulance could be fatal, and they should make an example of the .
