This is a fairly new term entering UK politics, and one that I think is worth expanding on as it explains a lot of what we see playing out in our part of the world.

So what is "the blob"?

The term comes from the 1958 Movie of the same name. Which portrays an alien beast that slowly consumes everything in its path.

The political blob can be defined as multi-layered and firstly involves those that advocate the globalist agendas of the UN, WEC, IMF, WHO and the IPCC. The globalist agendas being those that seek to establish a sense of ever increasing 'global government', which many oppose because they are unelected bodies who seek more authoritarianism for what many would view as spurious reasons that are surrounded by personal/corporate/national interests. Most of which the everyday man sees as a constant eroding of freedoms and choices and coupled with that increasing prices and penalties relating to business, leisure and every day living.
Needless to say globalist agendas are incredibly well funded and their only opposition is unsubverted democracies.

The second layer are the pro-EU advocates (this crosses over in to the globalists to a large extent but it is worth including this as its own layer).
And these include the obvious media corporations, pro-EU MPs, much of the UK civil service, much of the UK's institutions, many local authorities, where needless to say these bodies have a large amount of influence and power within UK society.

I'll leave it to you guys to discuss the agenda(s) of "the blob" in more detail but one clear example is a determination to not see the UK deliver on any of the "brexit promises". As this would oppose their agenda of putting a case forward for re-joining the EU in the future.
And with that you'll see vigorous opposition to anything that may tackle the illegal immigration crisis, hence the faux outrage at Braveman's stating of the facts recently in parliament. It also explains the outrage and successful removal of Boris and 'party-gate", and the outrage and removal of Truss where one of the issues was a proposed rolling back of the green agenda.

There will be the obvious who will reply to state "tin foil hat" or likely the usual labels of "far-right" and such like for even creating this post, but "the blob" is a term some/many may have already seen. And once it has been pointed out you may find it hard to "unsee" it wink
One thing is for sure though, is that there is a large amount of the UK electorate that sits in total opposition to "the blob" agenda. And future elections in the UK may well have to position themselves around this multi-layered all consuming beast.

Ye Gods. These people walk amongst us.

To be clear, “these people” means loons like the OP whose coping mechanism for life is to blame some ill-defined, faceless and nebulous thing for all the aspects of their life that aren’t working out for them.

Pathetic.

BLOB = I voted for something, turned out it was a bit of a st decision and that I didn't get what I want is somebody else's fault. In fact it's everyone's fault and they're all out to get me.

What I'm finding hard to unsee are the obvious dog whistle words.

This would be laughable if nonsense like this weren't so dangerously insidious.

After reading some of GroundZero's stuff in the climate change thread recently, the thought occured that he could be a decent science-fiction writer. These dystopian worlds he describes do at least sound quite interesting, even if they are imaginary.

If you've never written before maybe there's a new career for you, GroundZero.

Ok. I think most people have heard of that film, but not sure what it has to do with politics… I’m still very unclear where this is going…

Globalists/globalism.....you mean Jews. Like nearly all conspiracy crap, it's usually about Jews. Globalists, the North London liberal elite, etc etc. It's just the polite form of antisemitism.

By saying that, I guess I must be one of the Guardian reading, tofu eating wokerati, or whatever other rubbish our (hopefully temporary) home secretary says.

And Boris wasn't removed due to partygate. He was removed for promoting a known sexual abuser to a position of power, and when the sexual abuser went on to abuse someone else, lying about knowing to his senior colleagues, and sending them out to unknowingly lie to the press about it. When the truth emerged, they quite rightly no longer wanted to work for him, and resigned. The same thing would have got anyone the sack in any organisation. He couldn't be sacked, but with no one wanting to work for him, he had to resign. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I do think a lot of people just mean it as "global unification" or whatever.

But the trouble is, it's a big old dog whistle and normalises/emboldens those who absolutely do mean "The Jews".

I doubt the OP, while seemingly a bit of an idiot, is actually antisemitic.

But it's important for them to understand that spreading these opinions with this language benefits those who are.
