In the event that the Conservative party ask PHs NPandE who to go for next, who would you like to see replace Truss either in a conservative coup/leadership contest or if you’re going labour, assuming it’s in a GE.

I ran out of options so feel free to name some others.

Shame Screaming Lord Such is no longer this side of the daisies. He would have made a great deal more sense than any of the present incumbents of the House of Commons.

I'm going to suggest my mums' bull terrier Loki for the job, he's a bit of a space cadet but when he comes down from 'Planet Loki' with what little intellect he possesses he likes frisbees, wagging his tail and afternoon snoozes in front of the wood burner.

I doubt he would do a worse job of running the country than the current fkwits...

Wallace would be good - but he’s too bright to put himself forwards.

I feel it worth mentioning that Sunak warned us about Truss's madness. I think he has been proven right and should be given the opportunity.

Pretty much my thoughts too.

What a shambles this government is.

Personally, I think we should keep letting the Tory party membership choose, each time they absolutely nail what we need as a country.

You missed a "it doesn't matter" option.

I don't think it will matter at all which person or which party you vote for. They don't fear or serve the public at all.

I'd rather like to see him in the role but you're right, why would he take the poisoned chalice?

This Government - and the Tories in general tbh - are toxic....and fked.

The way I see it, we're in desperate need of a reset and the Conservative party would benefit from a few years in opposition.

I've never voted Labour in my life. If there was a general election tomorrow, I'd be breaking the habit of a lifetime without a moment's hesitation.

Careful. I had a post removed over writing something like that about Truss a few days ago.
