I agree with the OP that as far as I can tell her career highlight was as the Infanta of Spain in Blackadder.

As regards being rude about Jeremy Hunt she just comes across as a angry activist who knows what they hate but have no answers, & therefore not worth listening to.
Her outburst is the verbal equivalent of a ‘never kissed a Tory’ T-Shirt.

The circumvention of discourse and understanding by tribalism & hatred is not serving us well.

Ms Margolyes demeaned herself & no-one else.

I met her once a few years ago when she came through the port of Harwich. It was during the time when the Icelandic ash cloud affected all the flights and she had to travel on the ferry. I recall that she wasn't in a very good mood then.

Weird. She's literally met the bloke, and seemingly has a dislike for him.

Presumbly, you've met Mirian Margolyes, understand her reasons for saying what she said, and are not cirumventing discourse and understanding with tribalism and hatred at all.

That's like saying Alec Guinness's career highlight was Obi Wan Kenobi. She's done tons of stuff on stage and screen and never particularly been out of work from what I can tell.

There's soooo many examples. I think all newsreaders must have groaned that he has come to the fore again. I think that they must be thinking "don't say , don't say ..." and then say it!

Auntie etc - knows exactly what they are getting.

Didn’t she admit she had difficulty in not wanting him to die but then modified the hope to one he would recover as she didn’t want to be a person wishing for someone’s demise? A bit different but go with the hype.
