I think your post just reflects your views and prejudices rather than anything else

To form an opinion of someone’s political affiliation based on any displayed behaviours is questionable to attribute them due to their occupation ( or now it seems former ) is more a reflection on you than them

I’m sure people of all political persuasions can, at times display racist, mysoginistic, sexist or any other form of unacceptable view

The beeb had it as top story (top story no less!) on their news website for a large part of the day. So they’re pretty sure it’s news.

Seems a crazy bit of editorship to me but I’m sure they know what they’re doing.

I think you conflate the nurse openly being vocal about her politics and leanings and displaying prejudice against someone who doesn’t share her viewpoint, in fact actively wishing death upon them and the OP pronouncing the political affiliation of another without any basis

Plenty of people in all walks of life, occupations and political views can display abhorrent behaviour

Nurse being vocal about her politics and being offensive to Conservatives = a professional conflict of interest she should be fired.

Nobody wished death on anyone. If you have to misrepresent an argument in order to make it sound bad, your position is not as strong as you think it is.
