A no cycling sign highlights new cycling routes

Have they used the wrong picture? Should it be a blue one?



Is it time a diagonal line was added to things not allowed, so people better understand.

for example a closed water park

To be fair... that is just the BBC being a bit thick and picking the wrong image.

Our local Council did once get confused and put up Cycling Prohibited (Bike in a red circle) rather than their intended Warning, Bicycles (Bike in a red triangle) on a route being promoted for cycling. They did replace them within a few days.

I have lost count of the number of times I have picked the BBC up on inaccurate/inappropriate stock images. Just can’t get the staff anymore.
