Blackford supports Patrick Grady

Recording released show the SNP MP urging his fellow SNP MPs to support Mr Grady who has admitted making improper sexual advances to a fellow worker. Wonder how the guy who was subjected to Mr Grady's advances feels about the that, I believe he still has to work with him. And does this show Blackford in his true colours?

I must confess I am not certain what the issue is, he backed off as soon as he was aware it was not wanted as I understand it? Maybe I misread it or have missed something vital..

The point is that Blackford publicly said there was zero tolerance for sexual harassment and said he would fully support the victim while privately backing Grady in a meeting with fellow SNP MPs.

There is also the issue that Grady was allowed to continue as SNP Chief Whip while under investigation, meaning that he was the person an SNP staffer had to report another incident of sexual harassment by SNP MP Patricia Gibson.

Both were investigated and found guilty by the Ethical Standards Enquiry. Grady should have been suspended immediately pending the enquiry.

Bottom line is Blackford put protecting his staff above the victims. Not surprising behaviour from this thoroughly reprehensible man who gives Boris Johnson a run for his money in terms of lies, sleaze and corruption, yet Boris gets all the publicity.

Blackford has a long history of being a two-faced scumbag - he harassed Charles Kennedy to his death in retaliation for Kennedy revealing the truth that Blackford was not in fact a crofter as he claimed to be on his electoral literature, but instead had made his wealth as an 'Edinburgh banker.

Blackford also made a fortune when he sold his shares in Commsworld, right after they had been awarded Scottish government contracts to extend public broadband provision.

Blackford was also the CEO of a company that arranged inheritance tax avoidance schemes while he made speeches in the Commons about on-line retailers avoiding corporation tax.

His crowning glory though was criticising UK arms sales to Saudi Arabia while he himself invested in American manufacturers of weapons being used in Middle-Eastern wars.

Other scumbag politicians have their own PH thread, so Blackford certainly deserves one.

There's a reason Boris Johnson has little problems facing down the SNP leader-at-Westminster during PMQs. He knows the character of the person who trots out the nationalist jibes and insults and knows the hypocrisy behind it.
