Seems like this very charismatic and brave lady's battle is soon to come to an end. Extraordinary energy in front of the cameras over the years, let's hope her legacy carries on.
And anyone wishing to donate, I am sure it would be appreciated. Thoughts with her and her family, along with those of others suffering similarly

I hate seeing this news but it sadly seemed inevitable - much respect to Deborah (and Rachel Bland who sadly is no longer with us) for raising awareness. Cancer in all its forms is vile, but progress is being made. Donate to this, the Moonwalk (happening this weekend) or to any of the other myriad cancer charities.

Every £ helps, and it might just be your own life or that of a family member you're saving.

Damehood delivered personally by Prince William.
That's pretty special.

Utmost respect for her efforts, even though I actively avoided her output. My OH went through some very aggressive treatment for breast cancer between 2015 and 2018 and it was a living hell for her and a tough shift for me and our daughter.

She's living an (almost) normal life day-to-day now. She can't run half marathons anymore and some of the chemo fog persists, but she's back working full time (and even managed two promotions since) and it is part of our coping strategy to treat it as a distant memory because you can't be thinking every day that it might come back.

Keep fighting the good fight Dame Deborah.
