I'm curious, do those of you sneering with derision, actually know how much influence Harry has on such elements?

I mean, I've no idea of Harry's level of influence, which is why I'm not sneering at his comments, but maybe you guys do?

Fair point, I guess we don't know.

Perhaps the royal who buggered off to the states to make programmes for Netflix still has a lot of influence. But I'm sure those around the Queen on a more regular basis, including those 1st and 2nd in line to the throne, carry more

It's only a short soundbite to sell the interview, perhaps in the context of the entire interview it won't sound so cringeworthy.

Well if for some reason we accept that suddenly his granny is no longer able to deal with this stuff herself, how much influence do you think one grandson who lives abroad and paid a flying visit would be having compared to the horde of family who are already around?

Even without the finer details of the family dynamic it's pretty easy to estimate just how much influence he might have.
