yes heard this today, FFS but i do think there are places in the UK that live in the 1970s, usually run by stuffy old white blokes with red faces. Imagine a more racist carry on film.

i'm 40 and in my whole life never heard the 'p' word used as banter, it only use was to be racist. I just can't get my head around this, unless there was an ingrained culture of letting this stuff happen, turning a blind eye. Imagine if footballer used the n word against fellow players...

Banter is a word used by neanderthals to excuse bullying, pushing things too far and in this case being racist. Using this term to push their hidden thoughts and disguise some undertones that are no longer acceptable in a modern society.

Using the word P*ki and then excusing it as banter is worse than being racist. I've never heard the word P*ki being used as a term of endearment, only used to marginalise people I'm afraid. It's good that sponsors are standing up to this - A retraction is due shortly..

Cricket is the most racist sport on earth. In fact it’s almost expected. The problems start when it leaves the pitch. What’s said on the pitch stays on the pitch. Indian players are the worst to Pakistani players.
