More rhetoric coming out, but when does the time to stop laughing come?

When they launch a missile?
Another nuclear test?

When?

I saw that, but they allegedly caused a cyber attack on SK banking system last week.

So a Commodore 64 or not, they (possibly) have the ability to cause havoc.

The NK regime survives because of how it's population are brain washed. If they marched on Pyongyang they would dismantle the entire thing in an hour. But they are bred to fear and serve. Their living conditions are sub human, they are commodities for the leadership to trade and expend (Google north Korean work camps in Russia). The population is angry and the anger must be diffused or even better directed elsewhere. That is where US imperialism and the constant threat of war comes in. Not an hour goes by where they are not reminded of the enemy. Now that sanctions have grown tighter things are about to get a lot worse there, so the fear and hatred must be drummed up more to keep the proletariat subdued.

They clearly have the numbers to mount such an assault.

Having any number of US hostages would cause an all mighty rumble.

When they are a threat to us?

Seems to me he has any number of countries in his sights before us including the USA which is a biggie.

North Korea = Israel

The local nutters in their repective regions, in each case silently backed by a superpower. They are never told to stop misbehaving because their "masters" find them convenient.

When they have Chinese military backing, as long as we can keep China on-side we can pretty much get away with any amount of poking them with a stick.

I like to think of NK as the crazy weird kid every school has who sits at the back of the room muttering to himself and has no friends.

Every so often he'll do something odd like set fire to a bin and get in trouble or get suspended following a fit of rage where he smashes some windows.

The only worry is that when he gets older he'll either grow up and maybe become a bit more normal, or turn into a murderer/arsonist and achieve notoriety while everyone he went to school with stands around saying "I knew that would happen one day".

I thought China are now also condemning what NK has been saying/doing?

Their news site is hilarious but also troubling.

They are now afraid that the south is targeting statues.....

nutter news site said:
Those Who Hurt Dignity of DPRK's Supreme Leadership Will Not Survive: CPRK Spokesman
Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) released the following statement Tuesday:
The south Korean puppet military hooligans already drafted a plan for mounting precision missile strikes at monuments praying for the immortality of leaders and praising them, symbols of the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, in Pyongyang and other major cities in the DPRK, according to the March 25 issue of Chosun Ilbo.
The die-hard military gangsters were reported to have worked out the "list of targets" based on precision analysis through satellite photos and others, saying that the destruction plan can have serious psychological impact on the people in the north.
Touching on this, a person concerned of the puppet government said he knows the military has envisaged attacking statues with air-to-ground and ground-to-ground missiles.
This thrice-cursed scheme deserves divine punishment.

Sounds like hes going to run out of options soon and the fat fk will have to deliver on one of his promises.

Seems to be escalating, wont take much for it to kick off sooner or later.

They have a very large standing military that is conventially armed.

They lack oil to fuel their military.

China might back them, or at worst for NK be neutral in the UN, but they won't fund a war. Too much to lose on the world stage.

All posturing.

If they were going to war, they wouldn't make noise about it. The element of surprise is too important to give up for the propaganda value of some poorly photoshopped pictures. My guess is that this is related to internal repression in some way.

Ozzie, are you trying to break the world record for the most ill informed and stupid post of all time? If you are, well done.

Given that the Ozzster is already joint record holder of that record, you have to give him some credit for wanting to post a new personal best in the World Record Arsey Troll With Style league.

Minus several billion points for his use of an assignment operator when he was laughably asserting equality though.

They keep on doing stupid things.

Sink a frigate. Bomb tests. Military posturing.

Cut the last hotline, yesterday.

You know, bit by bit the fail-safes are being removed.

It's slowly edging beyond the posturing.

Send some B2's. Then what?

No, there needs to be some clever, proactive thinking to defuse this.
