They were all in it IMO, it's about time we had some clearing of the sleaze from out public officials and media moguls.

The media has failed to inform us about many important things - especially about the EU, Central banking and these continual wars we seem to keep paying for.. good riddance.

Wow!
I am naive enough to hope that they get to cut all of the rot out.
cameron and the previous 2 PMs & Mandlescumsmile
And what is it about the Freud's / Clarence Mitchell that they seem to have cropped out in lots of places for both parties?

They may be able to cut a little rot out.

It shall merely be replaced by more rot, in the same way you can't wallpaper over a damp wall.

For Sir Paul to resign on these pretty innocuous allegations and not the other issues that were a real resigning matter, is to my simple mind, very telling in that this must only be the beginning of the story.

Yes. This has been a carefully controlled series of resignations, each designed to hopefully defuse the situation to avoid whoever is at the very top of this from becoming implicated. It'll be interesting to see whether Sir Paul gets arrested in a couple of days or not.

I thought he resigned because of a freebie weekend at a health spa. The connection to phone hacking is tenuous?

It has been said for some time (by Brookes) that there is some explosive stuff will be following... perhaps this is connected.. It was apparently a 5 week stay btw....

This is the fallout from this kind of "witch hunt" rightly or wrongly this will have more casualties, I simply hope that it ushers in a genuine new broom as opposed to more of the same!

I've waited a long time to see Mandelson taken down. Blair would be the bonus ball.

So, ideas on what's yet to come? Voicemails stating Blair and Co's knowledge that the Iraq stuff was an utter fabrication?

He's resigned because he knows what will •definately• be disclosed if he stays. I fully expect the ginger bird will spill the beans on everyone involved as the reason for her keeping mum evaporated when she got arrested

So who's opening the book on which one of the miscreants is first to be found dead ... (in a field, with a blunt knife by the side of them) ...

Yeah, along with some empty pill bottles but no sign of the pills in the body.

This is starting to get more interesting than Italian Politics.
