The legendary "Big Man" from the E-Street Band, Saxophonist Clarence Clemons, has suffered a huge stroke. Clemons has been instrumental in shaping the E-Street sound and IMO Springsteens music is never the same when he isn't there beside him.

Get well soon Big Man!

Quite. What a loss, such a legend. The sound of my teens is gone. I shall put "Jungleland" on forthwith. RIP Big Man.

He was such a great guy, I was lucky enough to meet him and the rest of the E Street Band a few times.

He was a very nice and warm person, and a truly great musician.

Johnny Walker just started his Radio 2 70s programme a few minutes ago with "Born to Run" as a tribute.
