In fairness, there are more than enough of the unwashed undead in Leicester. In certain areas you could be forgiven for thinking that the bestial behaviour and the smell is completely due to a zombie apocalypse starting.

Having watched several zombie films I think the best plan is to barricading yourself in your home and hope for the best.

Programmes like Walking Dead and films like 28 Days Later give people false hope that they can go out and about without serious consequences.

The absolute worst thing to do is camp out in the open!

In the event of a virus zombie outbreak - barricade yourself for a few days and it'll be over.

dead bodies will rot beyond operation.

there's actual plans on the internet in the event of a zombie invasion.

No contingency plans for a zombie outbreak? What the feck do these council workers do all day if they aren't preparing for things like these? Sack 'em all (if CMD hasn't already)!

How would the council tell if it were a Zombie attack instead of a normal working day?

Well every zombie documentary I've watched over the years has shown that they're evolving. I mean, there used to be a time when they simply shuffled along slowly mumbling for brains. You have to wonder how people could ever succumb to those ones really when you could outrun them at brisk walking pace. Unfortunately over the years it seems they're now capable of running. In the last documentary I saw they were starting to become proficient in using tools and were attempting to perform the jobs they had before they became the undead, some of them even worked out how to operate guns. To be honest you have to question just where this evolution is going, surely it's only a matter of time before they go full circle and end up back as normal humans?

What I don't understand is why do you never seen zombie animals?

Surely if a dog gets bitten by a zombie, then it should become a zombie too?

They sort of had zombie animals in Resident Evil.

Anyhoo long chats in the tv forum have decided the trafford Centre as a PH meeting point for the zombiapocalypse.

That makes hiding in the loft out of the question then!

in all seriousness i'm sure I read somewhere about a city council or local government drawing up preparation plans preparing for a "zombie apocalypse", as it was a fun spin on the serious reality of a severe breakdown in civil order (disease, anarchy etc)

I doubt the good citizens of Leicester managed to get their plans drawn up in time:
