Sadly this is the answer.

But the more this kind of behaviour is publicised the better IMHO - the more chance of someone at least trying to do something about it.

No. They refine a fair bit of it, but don't have much of their own.

I can't believe Bernie's decision in the present climate. I think the Arab Spring might continue for some time yet.

Not really, but they do provide most of the international banking and deposit facilities for Saudi Arabia................................

And Bernie's assertion that he doesn't mix politics with sport is facetious to say the least. The fact that Bernie is negotiating with political leaders and governments to obtain F1 venues in dodgy locations indicates to me that Bernie is up to his neck in politics of the worst kind - all the time.

As you say not much in the way of reserves and they make their money refining someone elses and pumping it straight into the US fifth fleet. wink

Yeah, when all else fails, just come out with some tenuous association, and then pretend that's the entire motivation. Genius.

Is one death too many

47 protesters die in a monarchy and there is a big debate on the grand prix

1 protester (Ian Tomlinson) dies in a monarchy should our grand prix continue

there is a slight difference isn't there?

in bahrain we are seeing organised targetting of a particular group of people based on their beliefs (religious and political)

Ian tomlinson's death was a very regrettable (and illegal) event but it was not organised.

I agree but was pointing out there are also many similarities.

Can you point them out? As I the link is not even slightly tenuous, it is just plain illogical.
