Good luck with that!

Better just to cut off all finanicial and military aid, political support and then wash your hands of the whole problem?

Talk is cheap, as they say....

If USA behaved like certain other countries a lot more of the planet would be under the Stars & Stripes! Claiming conquered territory for settlements may be something which still happens in kids strategy games but it has precious little to do with modern international politics.

Netanyahu: "Certainly Mr President. We will be happy to withdraw to pre-June 1967 borders as soon as the Confederation of States south of the Mason-DIxon Line is reinstated".

Rightly or wrongly, the US gets blamed for Israeli policy and actions. Given that the US provides $Xbn dollars in aid, I would have thought it was they had a right to give their opinion.

The American position for some time has been 1967 borders by land area, with land swaps to incorporate the large jewish settlements around Jerusaleam into Israel, and compensation for the Palestinians elsewhere.

Uhh, if that is the case, surely it applies to both "sides".

Do you have any idea what's going on over there? What about the march at the weekend?

This video talks about Obama's speech. Start at 6:20 if you only want to hear about the settlement issue but the rest is very interesting.

Promoting a non militarized Palestine while pumping billions into Israel including arms deals while they break U.N rules is a disgrace.
