Poor timing if you ask me. With all the fuss over super injunctions the ECHR would have been risking a lot to push this one. There was, of course, a great deal of public interest in a man who, in charge of £million industry (albeit in his dreams), put himself at risk of blackmail.

He reinforced how much he was at risk by saying how terribly the revelations affected his family.

Mind you, the video and such was an atrocious move by the NotW. Equally despicable in my mind.

Mind you, it improved our knowledge no end. Many people would have thought that dressing up in PoW clothing, German uniforms, saying - I'm told - 'We are Aryans' and using German accents was, indeed, Nazi themed. My thanks go out to Eady for demonstrating that the obvious must, obviously, be wrong.

Few, if any, were sad to see him go. Ghastly man. Perfect for Bernie.

IMO if someone holds a position of power and influence it's in the public interest to know if there's anything "odd" going on in the background. I've not heard Mosley saying "I was tricked into this activity and it only happened once".

If Mosley wants to hang around with hookers that's fine by me, but I don't see why it should be kept secret if one of the participants wants to talk about it. Maybe Max the clever lawyer should have made sure everybody present signed a confidentiality agreement before they started? But where would he keep his pen?

I didn't understand Splatspeed's comment about "having our sport back" since Mosley has not had anything to do with motorsport for a couople of years now. It was a very strange remark to make.

I'm not sure. In my mind, someone would only do what he did if they had quite unpleasant tendencies, and, as such, he's really not suitable for the role he had.

Anyway, good that he lost, odious arse that he is.

Nor has he said "My mother was wrong to be a huge fan of Hitler", or "Running the US GP with six cars was a mistake".

I don't believe that the role play with the bondage girls wasn't Nazi themed, I think the judge used that to stop the NotW from running away with things.

If anyone else in the sport had done something which brought it into disgrace, and the view of many of the host nations is what counts here, Mosely would have ousted them in an instant.

I'm not surprised, given his political leanings, that he doesn't want a free press.

I'm delighted that he is going to appeal, the more money he pisses up against the wall the better.

There was an article in the Observer about six years ago which suggested that Unity, the lover of Ad Hitler, had a child by him, born in this country. The theory came from some discovered documents that said that she had not, as given at the time, tried to shoot herself in the head and missed but instead had been rejected by her boyfriend once he'd discovered she was with child. In support of this was the fact that the airplane bringing her, in a state of near death given her injuries, to Britain had not, as one would expect, landed at a biggish airport near a hospital but in Norfolk near to a maternity hospital where she was taken on landing.

A nurse/midwife at the hosp said that she gave birth (to a boy?). It was also pointed out that Max and mini Adolf could have been twins. What a coincidence. Mind you, that tended to suggest that there had been no birth as if there had then Max and Adolf would have been seen together one would assume.

My father, rabidly anti-fashist, showed me a couple of leaflets written by Max's darling mother post war in support of Ozzy's Union Movement. They were quite shocking. They wee incredibly crude as well and I found it difficult at the time to believe that anyone would be taken in by them. Max, of course, was an active supporter of mummy and daddy's little hobby. I was taken to see him once near Brick Lane by my father just to show me. I can't remember much about it as I was terrified but I do remember Ozzy standing on a box or something and shouting at the crowd. My father was rather shocked as well and took me away after a few minutes. There was a riot later on. Not to metnion the one from my mother when she found out where I'd been.

The leaflets showed, according to my father, and I saw nothing to dissuade me, that she was more racist than her hubby. There were suggestions that she and Hitler were lovers as well. That leads one on to wonder. Still, Max hasn't tried to invade Poland.

I know this is all said as a bit of fun yet . . .

I'll dig out the link to the article if I can. Well worth reading.

Hitler has a nephew living in the USA. His name is Brian.
