Majority for Labour. Not a total slaughter for the Conservatives.

Within a month there'll be even less enthusiasm for Labour than there is now. Not that there's ever been any this time around.

I wonder if the photo ID requirement will have a big impact on the results vs polls.

You've needed photo ID for a while.

Complete apathy from many potential voters due to the lack of virtually anything relevant to them, from any of the parties. Overall turnout could be well down.
It's no surprise that Reform are getting some interest given that Farage is about the only leader with a bit of charisma.

Wasn’t it OAPs who were most affected last time? I’ve got a vague recollection that the Tories blamed some of their Council losses on elderly people not being allowed to vote.

I don't really pay attention to policitics but to best of my knowledge this is the first general election with photo ID. i imagine it will impact younger voters more? but don't have a clue tbh

I think they found that it was mainly older people who struggled with photo ID.

I think it'll be labour, but not by the huge predicted margins.

Most people I've spoke to are mostly usually Conservative voters, but don't feel like they know which way to vote. Same as me.

Won't vote Tory, too much corruption and uselessness. They've had a chance and screwed the pooch.

Labour - Starmer isn't a very likeable character, and nor are most of the shadow cabinet. Don't particularly care for their policies, or their track record.

Lib dems - Probably only party who can unset the absolute dhead tory from my local constituency. Very middle of the road, but at least not proven corrupt/useless/racist/homophobic.

Reform - Talk a good talk on making big changes, which I agree are required. Don't think they can be trusted to deliver on any of it. Leader is a racist gammon grifter, and so are most of the candidates from what I've seen. Wouldn't touch with a bargepole, even if I want change and an alternative to vote for. I would like an alternative that has well thought out plans for change, and not have a big whiff of Daily Mail racism, little England and homophobic gammon about them.

Greens - Don't be silly. I agree with protecting the environment and reducing waste, but what about running the country and the economy?

I think it'll be a tactical vote for the lib dems for me. Won't enjoy it, but seems the only way to get rid of the useless tory we have right now. The man who sent out campaign leaflets with his big achievement being that he's tried to pressure the council to fix potholes.... slow clap.
