Surely this will be one of the lowest voter turnouts ever at an election? I know loads of conservative voters who can’t face holding their nose and voting Tory but who also can’t face voting for the other options. What a state we’re in.
Yep...that's me.
Can't vote Tory in their current form (Almost always have till now).
Won't vote Labour (did once, and I'm ashamed to say it was Blair...((I was younger and more stupid)).
Non of the others are anywhere near worthy.

I'll sit this one out I'm sorry to say.

On a serious note why did it take so long to stop that annoying music?

The pillock is the person playing loud music at an official statement that's part of the democratic process.
Show some basic respect.

Didn’t they spent a gajillion pounds of our money to build a stupid speech room? He looks like an idiot getting soaked.

Especially when they spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on a media room just for press conferences.

Because freedom.

Someone will do similar to Kier, can't imagine what the song will be though.

"Soggy PM announces election on a soggy day" - the headlines write themselves.

Soggy, music drowning him out…..what an embarrassment.
Indeed - they've got a media centre inside Downing Street so why do the announcement outside in the pouring rain with music from a nearby demonstration blaring out in the background? He was talking about the need to have a clear plan but they couldn't even plan the announcement of the election effectively!
