The bitterness of some people regarding Nige getting in to parliament is just bizarre, especially considering he will have virtually no voice in there anyway.
I think it will be fun to see how the Reform MPs get on.

I'm pretty sanguine about old Nigel.

He's been elected and will have to deliver to the good people of Clacton.

He'll no doubt want to be hanging out with his mates at Mar a Lago, but now he'll have to sit in an airless room, listening to a leylandi dispute between two old fogeys who smell of cat st and Stella.

I think some people have this mad idea where they object to two bob populists with a coterie of racists tagging along behind them.
Well that’s a lot of racists.

I presume he'll have transferred his electoral registration from Downe to Clacton so he can vote in person at the next election.

Top 5 last night:

Labour - 33.7% vote 412 seats
Conservative - 23.7% vote 121 seats
Reform - 14.3% vote 4 seats
Liberal Democrats - 12.2% 71 seats
Green - 6.8% 4 seats

60% turnout.

We are definitely in interesting times.
Top 5 2019

Conservative - 43.6% vote 365 seats
Labour - 32.1% vote 203 seats
Liberal Democrats - 11.5% 11 seats
SNP 3.9% 48 seats
Green - 2.7% 1 seats

67% turnout.

No idea what the changes really tell us or how they compare to previous years.

Are you ok?

No one apart from you, a man with apparent cognitive issues, referred to Reform voters. I mentioned two bob populists, Farage, Tice, that bellend Anderson etc. Then a coterie of racists tagging along with them, well documented by various media outlets and you took that to mean Reform voters.

I'm trying to recall any post you have ever made that wasn't a straight up embarrassment for you but it's just a huge, blank vista in all directions.

I think this is great news for Clacton, Nigel will deliver as much as he did for Clacton as he did for the general population as an MEP. Who can forgot his tireless campaigning whilst in the EU to ensure that British Fisherman got a fair deal (just one of many many many great achievements whilst an MEP)

I am sure that Clacton will change dramatically in the next five year, Jaywalk will become the Southwold of Essex attracting artisans./ artists / poets and free thinkers to the area.

Clacton itself will become the new Sandbanks with millionaires flocking to the area to live in the many mansions that will be built along the coastline.

Congratulations Clacton you have made a very wise choice in Mr Farage.

Hey, why don't you write the word 'racist' in bold and CAPITAL LETTERS just in case somebody hasn't noticed you saying it before. We all know what you think about Reform and it's getting a bit boring now.

So, 2/3’s of the seats lost by the Tories were caused by Reform.

Well done Nige…

Not caused by the Tories desperately weaponising immigration and culture wars rather than governing then?

Labour didn’t really gain votes.

Well, no.

Labour didn't win. The Tories lost. The voters voted for anyone but a Tory. They split the Tory vote between LD and Reform. Reform did massive damage to the Conservatives last night. I don't think anyone in their right mind would disagree.

Labour had the same vote share as 2019 and 5% less than 2017. Even SKS vote went down in his own constituency.

I think Reform is the party I'd choose to vote for if i was a racist.
