The guy at the start might leave something behind, but the Jamaican kid at the end seemed to like it.

Been on those, the coaster is lame but the other rides are some of the best.

I used to st myself on these things, on the slow uphill bits I would check out the welds for fractures eek

Now I'm older I love 'em, and my son is st scared of them !

The only downside of being older is the damn queueing.....

Top Five for Me:-
. Sherika (Bush Gardens)
. Mount Everest (Animal Kingdom)
. Pepsi Max (Blackpool)
. Dragon Khan (Port Aventura)
. Rock and Roll Rollercoaster (Disney Land Paris)
I left out any at Alton Towers because the queues are an absolute joke even as a kid I hated the place much prefer Thorpe Park or Drayton Manor due to this.

saw a tv program a while ago about coasters in usa, saw a couple of interest..

one wooden coaster went out into the woods for a fair way then came back

the other you start off at ground level, get shot along, goes straight up 90 degrees, then back down at 90 degrees - short ride, but looks harsh
first one sounds a bit like the Ultimate (was the longest coaster in the world for a while) in Lightwater Valley Park in Ripon. Ultimate although some rate Megafobia in South Wales as the best coaster in the world.

Second one - easy to identify - Superman: The Escape
no on both i'm afraid

the first was a wooden one i think in california, the second went up, over then back down and carried on in a line - kind of like iron bru at blackpool but straight up then down the other side not a loop

i'll do some digging and find their names

Last time I went to Alton Towers the longest queue was about 5 minutes. The joys of going at the end of October biggrin

How amazingly pointless!

A lot of effort has gone into that, for what appears to me to be a rather limited "experience"

hehe
