The full 1997 effect is being perfected; the wifi has gone wonky and performance is reduced to dial-up speed and I'm subjecting myself to an episode of Father Ted and Drop the Dead Donkey.

Loved Drop the Dead Donkey when it was screened back in the early 90's

Went to Richmond theatre in June to see the last showing of Drop the Dead Donkey with the original cast (albeit much older) - was brilliant and bang up to date

Right ladies and gents, for my Scottish comanches in preparation for the closing of the ballots and the start of the counts, eyes down for a full house of lost SNP seats...

I like George Osborne and Ed Balls but it does mean I have to put up with Peston. Will probably switch to something else before the first counts come in.

I don't like the smile on Ed Balls' face. Looks like bad news.

Oh no. Is there a channel 5 option?

Doesn't look like we are getting net zero Conservatives. Which is a shame.

It's not as bad as it could have been for the Conservatives so based on that I think they can take heart from the result.
