The jock nationalists want independence from the UK but join the EU. OK then....
If there is ever a vote again on jockanese independence I do hope we English (and the welsh and N Irish) get a vote on it. Would be lovely to lose them. Could we also give Liverpool independence too? We'd be quite well off then.

This is the reason Scot’s vote, wrongly in my opinion when you see an attitude like thatIf there is ever a vote again on jockanese independence I do hope we English (and the welsh and N Irish) get a vote on it. Its Sassenach attitudes like this that fuel the pro indy movement. If there is ever a vote again on jockanese independence I do hope we English (and the welsh and N Irish) get a vote on it. Would be lovely to lose them. Could we also give Liverpool independence too? We'd be quite well off then.
Being honest, I'm surprised there's not more ill sentiment towards Scotland given the continual outpouring of bile aimed at England from Scottish Nationalists.
If I was English I'd probably be pretty pissed off at how ungrateful Scotland appears to be given the really rather cushy deal it currently has as part of the UK. 15 years ago I'd always have said I identified as Scottish but I'm so embarrassed by the cringey, angry, chip on the shoulder public image the nationalists have built that the answer now is usually British. Still proudly from Aberdeenshire but sadly not so sure about saying I'm Scottish these days.

I'm with you there Snow and Rocks and agree with your timescale. Around 15 years ago I'd have been proud to say I was Scottish (I even wrote a potential new Scottish national anthem a few years before that ) but now I'd really hesitate to say I was Scottish as a first choice because of the nationalists image. But they don’t represent the majority, making slurs against Scots based on the rubbish stated by the loons is wrong
They are your elected representatives, it's your problem to solve if you don't like the image they portray of Scotland.TBH I'm really surprised (no I'm not really ) that the SNP have not suggested the rest of the UK partakes in the vote for independence. If they really wanted it, they'd do it and be pretty sure of victory. ROUK would happily all vote yes just to see the clusterfk that emerges from that. Of course, the SNP would never do that, can you imagine the howls of anguish if the Yes vote was carried by an English majority?

Misuse of the word 'Jockanese' that humorous word is supposed to mean the language they speak. I worked like a charm didn't it, you have seen it for yourself the mental manipulation (brainwashing) of the 45% of the voters in Scotland by the SNP, the divisionary tactics they came up with to rile up hatred against all things England and Westminster was a masterstroke. This appealed to a certain demographic in Scotland who lets just say the type that support two football clubs in Glasgow, this was a perfect outlet for their inbuilt rage and the SNP used this at every opportunity to keep that anger simmering away...for 17 years.
Thankfully it now seems that even some of these moon howlers have some clarity of vision and now see the SNP as what the rest of us do...a nasty bunch of lying thieving scumbags of the highest order.
So please don't paint us all with the same SNP brush, we have been trying our very best to get rid of them and this time it might actually work...55% of Scotland will rejoice the day the SNP are booted out of office, and to quote a cliche that day will be our
" Independence Day "
How's your local waiting lists? The SNP blame problems on lack of cash from Westminster. The numbers say different.
"The Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) point out that spending on the NHS in Scotland in 2000 was 22 per cent higher than in England, as a result of the Barnett Formula. In 2020, this had fallen to 3 per cent. The dirty secret of the SNP years is that since 2007 the nationalists have actually squeezed NHS spending to finance other social projects."

Today's Sky News poll gives Labour a 200 seat majority. The Scottish Nasty Prats projected to get 20 seats.
That's 20 too many.
I agree.That's 20 too many.
Labours projected majority surely will change with the rapid rise of Reform, I think they are going to mop up a lot of floating votes plus a lot of people don't trust Labour.

Reform could really help the SNP by splitting the nominally Tory vote in the SNP/Tory marginals in the North East and South of the country, though I notice that the Telegraph are now predicting Dumfries & Galloway going to Labour. Either way, Reform seem to be doing a far more effective job of splitting the Tory vote than Alba are of splitting the SNP.Labours projected majority surely will change with the rapid rise of Reform, I think they are going to mop up a lot of floating votes plus a lot of people don't trust Labour.
