I suspect he’s done a bunk over something relatively trivial.
I think I'm in the bunking camp - bad men, in over head and so on. 'I know Lucy, I could just disappear and everyone would think I was dead'
I get the what’s done is done re his past but some people just make bad decisions repeatedly unfortunately.

The Katie Price approach to life…

I think they’re all fully aware some bad st went down that night.

Money is going to be withdrawn to pay for things like flights and accommodation.

That clip a few posts back is odd.

I honestly don’t know what to believe anymore about this story but I have a funny feeling he is alive but it’s just a hunch.

Just picked up on this clip which was posted, which purports to be Lucy (in distress) finding/talking to Jay, if it’s legit and even them of course.

If true, that seems like it might lend support to the anonymous post on Facebook detailing the mechanics of the supposed drug dealing, the missing bag, etc.
So I've cleaned up the audio a bit. The video title seems misleading. This isn't about Jay losing the bag. This sounds like Jay might have been sent to deliver a bag, and it has gone sideways.

The female voice says "Did he look in the [indistinct] bag? Oh Jay! Oh Jay! fk! I'm sorry [rest is indistinct for now]."

That sounds more like Jay was sent to try to smooth over *her* mess, not the other way around as has been suggested elsewhere. If this is at all relevant of course.

That anonymous post suggesting Jay had suddenly been given responsibility in the organisation, and had abused it, sounded like post-hoc justification to me. This sounds more plausible.

I'd either assume Jay is toast at this stage (as an example), or the GoFundMe is a ransom.

So the GoFundMe is paying for their holiday and a few others to come out too?

Am I reading that right? Tenerife isn't exactly an expensive place to eat or stay..

Bit callous. If my kid went missing abroad I'd want to have the support of my partner, sister and other family members too. Or if my nephew went missing I'd want to fly over and support my sister in the hunt.

That seems exceptionally well written.

Why would they need the family of supporting friends already over there to be coming over and so paid for?

Also why would part of the money be used to pay for the mountain rescue teams, are these voluntary

I've read what the press reported the father said. 'Why the heck would he leave the road as there's absolutely no reason to do so as he would have been found within twenty minutes by passing cars'

All very bizarre

It appears as though she does have those kind of people by her side out there with her.

But those people have other people at home in the UK, so the intention is to fly them out as well using the go fund me proceeds.

It states 'Wonderful people' ..... It says nothing of these people being family as far as I can tell.

I don't suppose there's a Volunteering List is there - I've got my own binoculars and have looked at Google Earth so I reckon I'll find him dead easy after about 10 days.

Not bizarre if they need the money for some other purpose…

On one side, someone IS missing from home, there is a family worried about their loved one.

On the other side, stories about his character leave a lot to be desired.

I can’t tell if this is a genuine missing persons case or the guy has done a runner / been made to disappear by shadowy types.

Whatever the case, I hope he’s found alive and well, so he can answer questions surrounding him. I also hope he hasn’t dragged his family unknowingly into something / they aren’t hiding info or playing into the story. In other words I hope everything is above board, otherwise that withdrawl from go fund me is going to be a story in itself.

There is a definite whiff of something not quite right here. Elements of the odd behavior of the girl who shall not be named but went missing some time ago in Portugal along with elements of the girl under the uncle's bed.

And yet, you have to equate it with the Doctor found dead on a Greek island. There's a possibility he's toast and they haven't found him yet, and there's also the possibility he's toast and sleeping with the fishes. I can't imagine it's all an elaborate ploy to obtai money. The whole bunch don't strike me as intelligent enough to come up with this plot.
