I bet that if you meet a resident of Ilkley they would not say ' I'm from Bradford' though.
Oh agreed, they would say that they pay council tax to Bradford and support Philip Davies' (non-executable plan) to separate from Bradford.(I know quite a few of them)

I know I could Google it, but if the locals want it and the MP is supporting it, why’s it non-executable?
Because the LS29 postcode council tax funds 9-11% (IIRC) of Bradford's council tax intake, as it has so much high value housing stock. And just because an MP wants something doesn't mean new councils or changes to council boundaries can be created.

Yes exactly, you can't continue to enjoy all the many benefits of living next to Bradford.
Erm, benefits.... yes lots of people are on them.Serious list
1) Short cut to the M62 if you feel brave
2) Saltaire Mills and Cartwright Hall
3) The Alhambra Theatre is superb
4) Some curry places and Asian supermarkets
That's it.

Hollins Hall did weekend golf deals, at least when part of the Marriott group.
