I see reports that domestic energy prices are going to be held at the current rate until January, funded by borrowing paid back for my some sort of long term levy on bills. They are going to need a department to keep track of these levies - and no, please not OFGEM, they lost the plot years ago.
At least as big a problem is business energy, havn’t seen what they plan to do about that.
Good fking god! Truss can't be THAT stupid...can she?!

Oh dear.

You’re also conveniently forgetting that your new leader who you’ll no doubt defend to the last was a Libdem, an anti-monarchist and an ardent remainer!
She got over those errors.

Churchill was a Liberal, half American and mostly pissed. No one is perfect. biggrin

I doubt he'd qualify for one, but he'll be a bit confused when the Tories announce (as they seem to do every few weeks) their intention to bring them back.

Yep it’s where posh people go to school. I failed my 11 plus. Grammar schools are the ones Labour doesn’t want anymore of !!

Hmmm… so Nadine Dorries turns down staying in post. She’s desperate for attention so why is she running away? Maybe things are even worse than we thought… yikes!

I don't need to post anything, Gweeds is having a total meltdown about Greggs customers and she isn't even sworn in yet.

Well he's asked for the scrappage of universities in another thread. Must have spent some thought into education systems.

Will she be applauded for keeping energy prices low enough that that BP can at least continue to profit to the tune of $8.5 billion for its second quarter? I mean it's great to see record profits for energy producers aren't being spoiled by Joe Public not being able to pay their bills. With a bit of luck Liz will be reducing the tax burden these poor companies are being faced with. Go tories! I know there's a risk of mass poverty for the rest of us but you can't have everything right?

Not a boy I’m afraid. Oh I forgot forum rules only post if you are a leftie who likes to criticise women. Not a great look is it

If only I'd known we were posh. My dad was a lorry driver and my mum a hospital cleaner yet I had no clue we were posh. They lied to me and said my going to grammar school was to do with academic ability.

Always curious when a long standing member with fairly low post count is suddenly on every thread going

Still seems a bit of an odd system that allows 80,000 right wing extremists to pick the leader of a country of 60 million.
