trumps second trial of defamation brought by E Jean Carroll starts soon, and according to filings, trump has listed himself as a witness, indicating he wants to testify, despite never really turning up to the first trial, possibly for an hour only.
https://twitter.com/lawofruby/status/1724933075350...

He's also claimed that he shouldn't face anymore damages against him for defaming her again after he was found guilty of sexual assault and rape, claiming she didn't suffer any further reputation damage and if she did it was her own fault .

Remember the judge clarified that the jury' found that trump' sexually abused' Ms. Carroll implicitly determined that he forcibly penetrated her digitally, that trump in fact did 'rape' Ms. Carroll as that term commonly is used and understood in contexts outside of the New York penal law."

trump has filed his mistril appeal in the fraud case, basically claiming the clerk was saying nasty things about him
https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocume...
Habba was explicitly warned about public filings related to the clerk and is under a gag order herself. Yet as filed it appears they publicly filed their mistrial motion, brief, and supporting affidavits without permission—and in a way that likely triggers another violation of the same gag order they claim exemplifies Engoron’s bias.

Trump's lawyers are truly the dregs of the legal profession.

I do hope LF5335 actually reads the motion and understands how it is completely counterproductive to the stated aim not a genius legal strategy.
Motion for mistrial has 'zero chance' It seems trumps lawyers are just there to push his grievances, not actually defend him

Marge got schooled again, showing she doesn't know how Govt works, this time with FBI Director wray as she tried to push conspiracy theories from a right wing website.

Marge thought he was part of the Department of Homeland Security and should have been looking at her twitter

The House Ethics committee have not punished George Santos, saying others can decide to expel him and released the evidence. GOP protect that they need his vote...

He still faces a 23-count federal indictment including identity theft, wire fraud and lying to federal election officials.

After Jack Smith files about trumps gagging order, again quoting Thomas a Beckett and the request to rid of the troublesome priest, trump then posts on TS
"someone 'high up' should fire Letitia Peekaboo James, Fani Willis, Alvin Bragg and, of course, Deranged Jack Smith, They are KILLING our Country!"

Jack Smith knows the games Judge Cannon is playing for trump in trying to manufacture delays. Judge Cannon failed to set a deadline for CIPA section 5 in her last ruling, so Jack Smith is asking her to set the deadline for 18 Dec.

Quite significant penalties in NY, the loss of all his businesses, banned from doing business in NY (which is where all/most of his businesses are registered, the break up of trump org, and further protracted legal cases. Not to mention being shown up to be skint, not the billionaire he claims...
I was asking about the consequences of him breaching the gag order again.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is asking a judge to revoke the bond agreement for Harrison Floyd, one of trump's election co-defendants, citing recent comments on social media and podcasts that she says amounts to a "pattern of intimidation."

This is the man who refused a bail, made of political point of it claiming it was because he was black, and had at one point admitted to his team laking the proffer videos, which was then claimed as a typo.

Edit: It's provoked many calls for trump to face the same

Edit2: Misty Hampton's lawyer Jonathan Miller confessed that it was him that leaked the videos, trying to claim a first amendment right to do so

Middle links. Looks like Andrew Weissman has the same comment I do in that link. He’s highlighting that Trump is continuing not be treated equally and get preferential treatment. Guess he’s a broken record too.

Just to clarify for those who still think I’m a Trump supporter. I’m not. I’m asking why he keeps getting away with doing what he’s doing, whilst others face consequences. I’m not asking about the charges, I’m asking about the breaches of things that need immediate action, like Harrison Floyd. He’s potentially having his bail revoked, or at least that’s what’s being requested, for doing exactly what Trump has been doing for much longer. Let’s see Trump in jail too, even if it is just for a couple of nights.

Depends on which trial. On the one he's already been fined twice, it'll be another escalation, but that remains to be seen what it is.

If Trump keels over now, will he receive the traditional full military honours funeral as a former Commander-in-Chief?

Or coffin on a buggy to a corner of a golf course?

Andrew Weissman is an e Mueller team investigator, who was frustrated then that Mueller didn't prosecute trump, said they had enough evidence, was also the supervisor of the prosecution of Paul Manafort.
His book Where Law Ends is a good read, especially if you want to see how the scope of the Mueller investigation was narrowed to protect trump.
He certainly isn't happy about Barr's faked 4 page summary, nor his attempts to whitewash Barrs part in enabling trumps behaviour.

He also does a good podcast, Prosecuting Donald Trump

Can I drive the buggy/ hearse, Dicky? I'll wear my neoprene suit & finish in the water bunker. Make sure there's plenty concrete on his shoes.

Instead of demanding answers on here LF could always try doing his own research to see where that leads him.
