I blame it on those who can't spell, don't know where to use apostrophes and hardly ever remember to place capital letters at the beginning of sentences.

(And I'm not altogether joking).
i think you need to get out morerolleyes
Tut tut - I is ALWAYS spelled with a capital "I" - no matter where it appears in a sentence.

Without being too po-faced, I really do believe that overall sloppiness in ALL things is one of the reasons why we are fading as a country.

Honest question - Can 'spelled' be used in the same context as 'spelt' ?

Well, its been great seeing you on PH. Sure is a pity that you just signed your own death warrant.

Will it be a graceful retreat in the next 2-3 weeks? Maybe leaving in a flourish with a few strange troll like outbursts? Or will you come on with another userid like all the other cowards?

Is it the fault of other countrys governments not playing fair with the rest of the world?. Could it be the wars that are going on in the world?.Or even a little of everything above? what do you think

Here's the truth - Richard Hammond. Everything was alright till he crashed the dragster.

Actually, maybe it was me, cos on the day before it became public knowledge, I had an extra chocolate biscuit with my mid-morning coffee.

There were a lot of people responsible for the problem according to the zillions of threads that have gone through pistonheads over the last few months - from irresponsible lenders, irresponsible borrowers, traders forced by their P&L and shareholders to appear to the masses to be extraordinarily greedy to make huge bonuses, wheras according to those on here, they were just looking after their shareholders and clients' interests. Brown for selling all the gold, Brown for being Brown and employing Darling, Darling for having eyebrows that do not match his hair, US sub-prime market....yawn...

Basically, we're currently royally fked worldwide, life's a little harder than it was for some of us, and a lot harder for those that have lost ther income and investments from it. It could get worse before it gets better, but one day it will get better.

The real culprits - people that cannot use the search button extending the doom and gloom each day wink

ETA - can spell reasonably, can't type very well at all, so had to fix it a bit....

Naah, we could have recovered from that. It was the rise of socialism.
