Habba was explicitly warned about public filings related to the clerk and is under a gag order herself. Yet as filed it appears they publicly filed their mistrial motion, brief, and supporting affidavits without permission—and in a way that likely triggers another violation of the same gag order they claim exemplifies Engoron’s bias.

Trump's lawyers are truly the dregs of the legal profession.

I do hope LF5335 actually reads the motion and understands how it is completely counterproductive to the stated aim not a genius legal strategy.

I'd have to agree. The messages and narrative that some of the Trump supporters have used absolutely focus on the more vulnerable in society. Then keep the messages flowing and its not a stretch to think that some of these people are easily triggered into a mental crisis. Just look at the mental gymnastics that they are expected to go through on some of the conspiracies! Its enough to warp anyone's mind.

Whether I read it or not will not alter the fact that here will be no consequences of note for Trump or his legal team. How many breaches will this be? What’s the worst that’s happened to him?

Quite significant penalties in NY, the loss of all his businesses, banned from doing business in NY (which is where all/most of his businesses are registered, the break up of trump org, and further protracted legal cases. Not to mention being shown up to be skint, not the billionaire he claims...

This is the man who refused a bail, made of political point of it claiming it was because he was black, and had at one point admitted to his team laking the proffer videos, which was then claimed as a typo.
