It's only been around 20 minutes and the Biden fans are already fantasizing about doing drone strikes on the Supreme Court and Trump.

Presumably the gravity of the ruling has not resonated with you yet? Do you not have the capacity to comprehend that following this ruling, such outrageous acts are technically legal for any sitting president to commit with immunity? Not just your hateboy Biden, but any sitting President, regardless of he’s ‘your guy’ or not. That means every current and future president, including ‘your guy’ should he win the next election, and who will most certainly abuse and corrupt the privilege to no end.

This ruling has the potential for dire and far reaching consequences, and to not understand that reflects extremely poorly on you.

It's wrong because it is not what the judgement says.

The judgement makes clear unlawful acts, even if performed while in office, do not receive immunity.

The President does gain immunity for actions within the scope of their "conclusive and preclusive" constitutional authority. That constitutional authority is already defined and it doesn't extend to sending Seal teams to kill domestic political rivals.

It’s literally not defined. It’ll be left to legal challenge if something was official or not.

For example, under patriot act, an individual could be held indefinitely in somewhere like guantanamo, to prevent them from leaking classified information to enemies.

Like say, someone who had meetings with Putin, wrote letters to north Korea, and had literally boxes of classified information?

Hmmmmmm. wink

And yet Biden wasn’t prosecuted for having classified documents a few months ago because a special counsel deemed he wasn’t mentally fit to face trial.

That didn’t happen. His memory was called into question but it was concluded he didn’t do anything illegal.

Unlike Trump.

Or the fact that Hunter Biden, someone who "has the ear" of Joe Biden, took money from a disgraced, criminal Romanian businessman. Hunter also made millions from deals with state-backed Chinese firms and Joe was paid money from his brother with funds originating from a Chinese firm - again state backed.

But again, we don't talk about that.

I believe there was not only a criminal investigation, but "an impeachment enquiry"

Hardly above the law.

Besides, I don't think it'll affect hunters chances in november....

Joe and Hunter famously blurred the lines between personal and professional, Hunter conducted business using Air Force two

But of course, there could have been no connection between any of it and Joe Biden was simply unaware the whole time.

laugh Quoted for posterity. These guys really have lost their way. Fortunately they don’t get to vote in the US so we can cheerily point and laugh. They do however get a say this Thursday which is a concern.

It's was in response to another poster (sarcastically) saying "Shhh, we don't talk about that" regrding Biden's illegal handling of classified documents, I was carrying on the joke with my own "But we don't talk about that".

Really odd that I'm having to explain that.
