So many of his aides, staff, apologists and defenders have been too prepared to delude themselves and to try to gaslight others into thinking that Joe Biden is just fine and that any criticism is either CT stuff or to be written off as support for Trump.
Don't hold your breath waiting for any contrition from the Biden cultists here.

Some ridiculous theory that Michelle Obama is a bloke.

Who?

I am serious. Who are the Democrat stars?

GOP has a few, like DeSantis, Vivek, and some more.

I am not following the Democrats, but all I can hear is Newsom (Jesus Christ!!!) or Michelle Obama (which is nonsense, nepotistic and dynastic). I would welcome a strong Democrat.
Michelle Obama could probably win
I’ve quite liked that Pete Buttigieg in interviews I’ve seen.

Excruciating to watch.

A conman lying with panache and conviction spewing out his greatest hits with no real challenge from the moderators. In the other corner a frail decent man who was truthing in hesitant and not very convincing fashion.

Who knows where things go from here - but there can now be very few Americans believing that Biden could be an effective 86 year old Commander-in-Chief.
I think one of Biden's few "cards" is that the President should be a spokesperson/final authority and is supported by a team of experts at every turn and that Biden is the kind of guy that will listen to someone who knows what their talking about. Trump always thinks he knows best and would ignore good advice unless it already agrees what his half-informed bluster says.

Difficult one to play though. It's essentially undermining his and the president's role.

Absurd, and the memes where gym bros yearn for the ability to build a back like hers are just daft.

Thought it was the Republican from Louisiana that was being referenced, which puzzled me no end biggrin

That's exactly as insane a comment as I'd expect from twitter these days.

I can. This place is only a couple levels below Twitter in some cases.

I'm watching some of the American news channels as America is starting to wake - it's savage. It's not even discussing the debate - just discussing if he can survive at all.

Says you. The sudden leftist media u-turn on Biden, as they realise their boy is a barely sentient pantomime horse unable to string coherent sentences together, is as amusing as it is predictable.

There's nothing even remotely hilarious about the genuine possibility of trump getting near any position of power.

This is good news - in the sense of there being no option but to step aside.

So you keep saying, ad nauseam. If Trump wins then the Dems only have themselves to blame - the media are starting to realise how inept Biden is. It's time for the Democrats to wake up and realise the situation they are in with their chosen candidate, and take urgent action to change it. Blithely continuing with Joe as candidate is not a credible plan.

If I had my choice I'd bin both candidates and start over, but we are where we are.

If you havent got your health, you cant really do much in life.

Biden's age is showing sadly. I hope he steps aside for his sake and they find someone who can beat Trump.

I think its likely Trump will get back in otherwise.

Agree with you - and apply the same thinking to the GOP. If they realise that Biden is so poor that they actually have a chance of winning (despite Jan 6, impeachments, Stormy etc etc), then put someone better in the frame. Anyone. fk me, the tea coffee lady would be better than Trump. But they must have had their confidence buoyed, so ACT ON IT and get shot of Trump. Or are they "power at any cost" types??

ETA and it is funny. America (fk yeah) and their "can do" attitude to pretty much anything - can do, except put forward someone genuinely decent for President. And these people STILL hang their flags from their doors, swear allegiance every morning, and think they live in the greatest country on Earth. But with a leader who can't even finish a sentence. Biden is like a character from the Simpsons.

PS I genuinely love America, I have been thee many times and will go back. But their politics is busted.
